Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. She was the first American female gymnast in history to have won four gold medals during one Games. in Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone was first able to show the sport of gymnastics seriously as an infant during a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the next eleven years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite gymnastics in the year the year 2011. A year later, Biles dominated the sport. Biles stood out for her consistency in performance, vivacious character, as well as the difficulty of her routines in the four events she competed in including vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
