Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American after winning American Idol's first season. This win catapulted Clarkson into fame and earned her the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since then, she has recorded numerous recordings from her studio. Three of them have made it to the US Billboard 200 charts while other albums were just one or two inches way away. She was among America's top performers. To achieve her success she experimented with different music styles and experimented on subjects. Her work was praised by critics and several high-profile awards for her uniqueness as well as her singing talent. She has also been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her singing profession, she has also had a stint in TV and film. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with various charities.
