Carol Lynley

Pics Carol Lynley Feet and LegsCarol Lynley (born Carole Ann Jones, February 13, 1942 - September 3, 2019), was an American actress. She is most well-known for her work in the movies Blue Denim (1959), The Poseidon Adventure (1872), and The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Lynley was raised in Manhattan by her Irish mother and New England father. She started her career as a child model prior to beginning to pursue acting. She was awarded the Theatre World Award as "one of the most promising actors for the years 1956-57" for her performance in The Potting Shed. Lynley's film career started in 1958 with the Disney film The Light in the Forest. Holiday for Lovers (1959), Blue Denim (1959) followed. In 1959 she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer-Female for the movie The Light in the Forest. One year later, she was nominated again for the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Female Newcomer.
